Eight Pupils Receive Sacrament Of Confirmation

Each pupil participated joyfully and attentively throughout the liturgy adding to the reverent atmosphere of the evening.

Many thanks to The Right Reverend Richard Adrian Walker,  Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham, who led the confirmation and Father Alan Whelan MSC and Father Teddy O’Brien MSC who supported him and to the pupils’ parents and families for accompanying the children on their on-going faith journey.

Thanks also to the choir, Gil Cowlishaw and Alison Wakeley for their musical contribution to this very special occasion and to Mary Benham, who worked so diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night.

The Mass was a beautiful occasion for our community and a very special night for all the young people confirmed. We offer our congratulations and prayers for our eight new full members of the Church.
