House Services Mark The Feast Of Epiphany
17 Jan
At the start of the Lent Term, pupils took part in House services to celebrate the Feast of Epiphany, the feast that marks the arrival of the three wise men to pay homage to the new-born king.
The journey of the wise men, or Magi as they were originally known, was one of hope. For the Catholic Church 2025 is a Jubilee Year with the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ and Pope Francis has invited Catholics to renew their hopes.
In the services, Father Alan Whelan MSC encouraged pupils, as they settled back down to daily school life, to reflect on their hopes for the term and how they hope to achieve them.
Our thanks go to Father Alan for leading the services and for reminding us all of the importance of hope.
